Johnnie Joe Coffer Sr., 56, of Nixa, left this life to meet our Lord, Savior and Creator on August 17, 2012, at Manor Care.  Johnnie was born to Mary Garrison and George Williams on July 30, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri.  He graduated from Hillcrest High School, and married Susan McNamee on March 2, 1996, in Springfield, Missouri.  Johnnie was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Marine Corps.  He worked for several years as a painter; and later worked at Clayton Mobile Homes.   Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ethel Garrison, and one sister Becky Garrison.  He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Susan Lynn Coffer, and their daughter Kayla Coffer, both of the home; six children, Beth Hogan, Johnnie Joe Coffer, Jr., Jeremy Fisher, Ami Coffer, Billy Belle, and David Coffer; fourteen grandchildren; one brother, Billy Garrison; four sisters, Janie Wilson, Teresa Yates, Patty Garrison, and Denise Garrison; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., August 19, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, with burial at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to any organization that assists families with medical organ transplants.
