George N. Mell, 84, of Rogersville, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 in his home. George was a Structural Iron Worker for Local 11 in Newark, New Jersey, and was a Korean War Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia E. Mell. George is survived by his wife Jeannie Mell, four children; Russell Mell, Kristal Lindstrom, Matthew Mell and Amryl Panayiotou; three grandchildren, Shannon Thibodeaux, Sean Mell and Daniel Lindstrom; two great grandchildren Angel and Malachi; two brothers David and Richard Mell. Services for George will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home East with burial to follow with full military honors in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in the funeral home.
