Ray Loyd Beach, 85, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, following a short illness.

Ray was born May 22, 1927, in Springfield, MO, the fourth of eight children to Everett and Bertha Beach.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Aleta Jo Warford Beach; his three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Rex Beach; and one sister, Viola May Tummons-Garner.

Ray is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dianna Lynn and Robert Elim; five grandchildren, Christy and Jeff Lane, Shannon Owens, Robin Owens, Scott David Choate and Jodie and Patch Resa; five great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Vesta and Elgin Miller, Virgie and Ken Parsley and Carl and Sharon Beach.

Services are at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday., July 25, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO, Bro. Jim Barrett officiating.
