Fannie Irene Erwin peacefully passed Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Fannie was born August 5, 1922 to Charles and Louisa Brown Cossins in Morrisville, MO. She was married to Louie Woodard Erwin in San Francisco, CA. in 1942, they were married 55 years and were blessed with two children, Rosemary and David. Fannie was a wonderful cook, homemaker and mother. She retired from McBee Binder Company after 25 years. After retirement she became a member of Ozark Peace Makers Quilt Guild, where she won several awards for her quilts. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary Hancock and husband Tom; her son David Erwin and wife Karen; four grandchildren, Laura Postma, Thomas Erwin Hancock, Stephanie Murphy and Bethanie Kennicott; six great grandchildren; three nephews and many good friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow in Morrisville Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m., in the funeral home. The family asks for memorial contribution be made to the Morrisville Cemetery.
