Mildred Louise (Reed) Lyons passed away July 17, 2012 at her home in Fair Grove, MO. She was born June 16, 1923 in Wadsworth, KS to Warren L. and Violet (Seichepine) Reed.

She graduated in 1941 from the Leavenworth High School. She retired from Civil Service at Ft. Leavenworth after having traveled with her military spouses to many stations in the United States and Iran. Her parents and three sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include five children, Russell Lyons (Joyce), Marie Lyons Johnson (Ben), COL Patrick Lyons (Karen), Patricia Lyons and Kathleen Jarowitz Carpenter (David); 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 5:00 p.m., in Faith Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
