Dorothy Helen (Dickens) Mills, age 91, was born September 4, 1920 to Preston and Lois (Callahan) Dickens and went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2012. She married Earnest Mills on June 27, 1942. She is survived by her children: Ernestine Rhoten, Rick (Jane) Mills and Dee Arnold. She was the best MeMe to 7 grandchildren, 2-step-grand-daughters, and 25 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a son-in-law. Dorothy was a member of High Street Baptist Church since 1936, where she and Earnest helped start the Victory Bible Class. She taught Sunday School in the Beginners Class and served faithfully in various ministries. Until Dorothy's eyesight began to fail, she visited many nursing homes and shut-ins, helping anyone who needed her. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Selmore Cemetery, near Ozark, Mo. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2012 evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to High Street Missions.
