Patsy Ann Gray, age 78 of Springfield, passed away July 14, 2012. She was born on February 6, 1934 to Clarence and Emmagene Minor in Springfield, MO. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Gray in October of 1954.

Preceding her in death was her son, James Edwin Gray; her father, Clarence Minor; her sister, Dorothy Thurman; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Gray; her children, Mary and Bobby Pope, Frances and Fred Peck, Lonnie and Tricia Gray, Valinda and Earl Light, and Rex and Cindy Gray; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; her mother, Emmagene Minor; and sister, Shirley Bolin.

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a very loving and giving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She had a servant's heart and a gentle loving spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
