Lois Linnie Pendergrass, 89 of Nixa, passed away July 13, 2012. She was born March 6, 1923 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late Mack and Myrtle (Reed) Barnes. She was united in marriage in Galena, MO on August 14, 1940 to William D. Pendergrass, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Barnes and a grandson-in-law, Rene Vaughn.

Survivors include four daughters and one son, Karolyn and Dean Schoolcraft, Kenneth and Barbara Pendergrass, Willie and Les Belt, Cindy and Pete Bybee and Rebecca Elrod; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Sgheiza.

At 9 years of age she accepted the Lord as her saviour and joined Southside Baptist Church in 1945.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
