Larry Bishop passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 in his home, following a short battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 21, 1930 in Colorado Springs, CO. He retired from Continental Airlines after 20 years, and after moving to Springfield he was employed by Frisco Transportation as a Sales Rep. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Edythe Bishop of the home, one son, Dr. Randolph Bishop of Savannah, GA; one step-daughter, Freddie Atkinson of Lebanon, MO; five grandchildren, one sister, Betty Callahan of Bradenton, FL; and many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Church Gymnasium.
