Michael David Farabee

Michael David Farabee, age 60, of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. He was born June 2, 1952, in Springfield, MO, to Richard and Doris (Mills) Farabee. He was a bass guitar player for M-Dock band of Springfield, MO. He was envolved in Boy Scouts of America, adult and youth sports. He was active member of St. James Episcopal Church serving in numerous roles.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Eugene Farabee and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie Farabee of Springfield, MO; his mother Doris Jean Farabee Mills, Ozark, MO; Two sons: Michael Farabee of Palm Desert, CA, and Andrew Farabee and wife Ryanne of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren: Landon, Mason, Mia, and Marcus Farabee; four brothers: Rick Farabee and wife Melody, Jeff Farabee and wife Brenda, Chris Farabee all of Springfield, MO, Phil Farabee and wife Brenda of Olathe, KS; two sisters: Teresa White and husband John of Rogersville, MO, and Debra Braig of Hollister, MO; mother and father in-law Ervil and Mildred Climer of Springfield, MO; sister in-law Janette DeGood of Springfield, MO; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at St. James Episcopal Church Friday, June 8, 2012, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Uhlik officiating. Burial will follow in ??? Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Prayer Vigil at 7:30 PM Thursday, June7, 2012, in the funeral home.
